William Rau 1855 - 1920

William Rau was an American photographer active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He is most renown for his stereoscopic photography. His work included travel and landscape photography. Some of his portraiture subjects included Teddy Roosevelt and Geronimo.
He was the official photographer for the Louisiana Purchase Centennial Exhibition in 1904 as well as the Lewis and Clark Centennial Exhibition in 1905.
